Kansas City Therapist Family Therapy

Parenting is hard. Coparenting is hard. It’s easy to get caught up in every day life and busyness and let relationships take the hit from the stress. Yet, your little ones (and the bigger ones too) need to know that you are their best, strongest support. If you feel like your family is too busy, disconnected, and overwhelmed, family therapy (including play therapy) can help. Here are some things that we can address together:

  • Having a solid knowledge of where your child is at developmentally to best meet his/her social and emotional needs
  • Guided therapy activities to help you bond with your child on his/her level
  • Help for parents to be more on the same page with parenting strengths and values
  • Learning or re-learning how to relax, laugh, and have fun together
