Finding a therapist can be scary for many adults. You may have tried therapy before with limited success, or you may have not found a therapist who was a good fit for you. Therapy for adults can focus on a variety of issues. Some of the issues I have experience counseling adults with include:
- Generalized anxiety disorder
- Depression
- PTSD
- Trauma- simple or complex
- Adjustment disorders- which are intensified reactions to typical life circumstances
- Relationship problems
- Parenting issues
- Work issues
- Adult sibling or family of origin issues
- Feeling lost or stuck in life
- Healing from religious trauma or religious deconstruction
- Affirming for neurodivergent adults
- I use a variety of therapy techniques for adults, including cognitive behavioral therapy, sand tray therapy, and person-centered therapy.
New clients will receive a consultation phone call before their appointment is approved.
