therapy for adults

Finding a therapist can be scary for many adults. You may have tried therapy before with limited success, or you may have not found a therapist who was a good fit for you. Therapy for adults can focus on a variety of issues. Some of the issues I have experience counseling adults with include:

  • Generalized anxiety disorder
  • Depression
  • PTSD
  • Trauma- simple or complex
  • Adjustment disorders- which are intensified reactions to typical life circumstances
  • Relationship problems
  • Parenting issues
  • Work issues
  • Adult sibling or family of origin issues
  • Feeling lost or stuck in life
  • Healing from religious trauma or religious deconstruction
  • Affirming for neurodivergent adults
  • I use a variety of therapy techniques for adults, including cognitive behavioral therapy, sand tray therapy, and person-centered therapy.
